Call for papers: Second Arts in Health Conference and Showcase Deadline 30 November

Showcase your work at an event to provide healthcare professionals with inspiration about the power of the arts to improve the lives of patients and health professionals, and to galvanise and equip them to work with artists and arts organisations.

Aesop is partnering with the College of Medicine and Guildhall School of Music and Drama to present the second National Arts in Health Conference and Showcase. It will take place on Thursday 19 April 2018 at the Guildhall’s beautiful new hall, Milton Court.

The first event was held at the Southbank Centre in London and featured 24 leading arts in health programmes, the Secretary of State for Health and the Chairs of Arts Council England and NHS England. It sold out, trended on Twitter for 7 hours and attracted a wide range of health decision-makers from frontline professionals to NHS England’s National Clinical Director for Innovation who tweeted that the event was ‘a game-changer’.

Aesop are currently seeking proposals from Arts organisations working in Health, who would like the opportunity to showcase their Arts in Health programmes at the Conferences. Interested organisations can apply here our the Expression of Interest Form. Please email Gemma Goddon, Head of Public Engagement and Communications on to request a form.

Deadline for Expressions of Interest is 30th November 2017.

More information about the Second Conference will be published soon.
