HLF 'First World War: Then And Now' funding strand
The First World War affected millions across the globe and shaped the world we live in. The Centenary is a chance to understand the war better, uncover its stories and explore what it means to us today.
Everyone should have the chance to discover more about the war and mark the Centenary. That’s why the Heritage Lottery Fund are providing First World War: then and now, a special grant programme for community projects under £10,000. ‘Gone but not forgotten’, a project from Petersfield Museum in Hampshire, is a great example of what can be accomplished through the programme.
The HLF team are really keen to see applications coming in from Museums across the South East for this programme. If you have an idea or any questions you want to ask, please get in touch with one of the South East England’s Development Officers, Graeme McKirdy (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Joseph Minden (email@example.com), or call us on 020 7591 6157. We’d love to hear from you!
